I know oil change is illegal because changing hazardous fluids and all,but if i rotate the tires of my passenger vehicle,can i get in trouble? i just checked on line the city regulations of the city where i live and i couldn't find anything about it.FYI i live in winchester va..i am planning to rotate them right in front of my home.Illegal to rotate your tires on the street?
There is probably a law against anything a person can do.Personally,I would go ahead and do it in a timely and neat fashion,not bothering anyone.What's the worst they could do to you?Maybe give you a warning.Illegal to rotate your tires on the street?
Pretend you have a flat tire. Use the spare tire to remove the first tire to be rotated. Drive to the next parking lot. Pretend you have a flat tire. Remove a tire and swap it with the first tire you removed (now in your trunk). You get the idea I'm sure.Illegal to rotate your tires on the street?
An oil change is NOT illegal because of 'hazardous fluids'. ANY non-emergency vehicle maintenance on a PUBLIC street is illegal.
