I had just recently caused my driver side front tire go out of balance. I know it's out of balance because it's a bit of a bumpy ride and the steering wheel shakes when i go fifty and over. Would anyone know how much tire balancing costs at Firestone tires? I have a $20 coupon so it must cost at leat $25 dollars.Would anyone know how much tire balancing costs at Firestone tires?
If a tire shop recently put that tire on, go have them do it for free. Tires come with a spin balance as part of the cost. If not, it should be about $15 per tire at any shop. Going out of balance is a matter of losing the lead spin weight attached where the tire meets the rim of the wheel. The fastest and surest way to tell if it is a balance problem on the front tire (assuming you have good tires) is to drive about 15mph and then drop the steering wheel briefly. If balance is a problem, you should see the steering wheel wobble.
If the spin is not a quick fix, you may be looking at an alignment.
shouldnt cost that much all they do is put it on balancer it spins it for about a minute and they tap the weights in place where it needs it. i would say about 25 dollars like you said.Would anyone know how much tire balancing costs at Firestone tires?
If you bought that tire at firestone they will balance and rotate your tires for free. and no its not 25$. depending where you live it might be 8$ give or take a few dollars.
