You should always fill to the recommended manufacturer tire pressure. You can find this out on the driver's door jamb. There should be s ticker there with the info you need. Greater than 40 PSI.
Generally for car tires the PSI is somewhere between 30psi-40psi.
You can leave it at 150 psi, it is just going to fill the tire up extremly quick. Just to it quickly and make sure all 4 tires are the same PSI for treadwear
just turn it on and fill your tires to the recommended pressure that you check with a tire pressure gauge and when your done turn the compressor off.
