Does a tire rotation have to be done while the tires are being balanced?

The alignment is off on my front tires, will a shop just balance the tires and not rotate them, i am afraid the front tires may be damaged.Does a tire rotation have to be done while the tires are being balanced?
its best to go get the aligment done first, then have costco balance the tires, even if you have worn the fronts funny, getting the alignment done correctly, and putting the fronts on the back will actually help the tires last longer in the long run, costco will just balance the tires, tell them not to rotate them because you have to get the alignment done, they will do what ever it says on the work order, so tell the guy at the front counter, no problems.
they will rotate them if you ask them. but you don,t need to rotate them after you get them balanced but it,s a good idea. if you have 2 jacks you can rotate them yourself. just bring the back up to the front and the front to the back. just remember to keep them on the same side.Does a tire rotation have to be done while the tires are being balanced?
The Shop will do whatever you instruct them to do. If you tell them you want your tires balanced but that you do not want them rotated, then they will do that. Just tell them when they write up the work order.
