Can getting your tires changed somehow wear our your bearings?

I got 4 new tires on my 2006 Jeep a month ago and now one of the wheel bearings has worn out? Can these two things be related? Could an improperly installed tire cause that or does it take awhile for a bearing to wear out? Could it just be a coincidence that I had my tires replaced and a month later a bearing wore out? I have 78,500 km on my Jeep. Thanks.|||no, i think the bearings were already worn out, is just that they were not showing yet.|||over size tires will put pressure on the bearings, and the ball joints, 78,000 is not allot of miles|||Sometimes if you put a tire that is much wider than stock it can act like a pulling effect on the wheels and yes it will wear out bearings, also if you put on aftermarket wheels that have too much deep set than stock it WILL pull and wear out bearings.

beware of deep dish wheels and wide tires.|||Coincidence or the fact that Jeep is a pretty unreliable brand. Tires have nothing to do with it|||No not a coincidence, you ran on your old worn out out of balance tires and worn out unaligned front end having piece of crap Jeep long enough that when you did finally decide to have it fixed it was too late and the damage was already done, now your looking to place blame somewhere, guess you didn't read the reviews on that jewell before you bought it.|||Bearings will wear out no matter how good or how bad you treat your car, its going to happen sooner or later. The two are rarely linked by more than coincidence. I would suggest to just move on and get the bearing replaced. If you use your jeep off road that could speed up wear on the bearings and shocks, not to mention other parts.|||78k on the odometer wore out your wheel bearing. Tires have nothing to do with it.
