I have a cannondale F8 and it came with Kenda Small Block Eight tires. I ride roads alot more than trails but still I like trail riding just don't get to do it much. So what type of tires would be best cause mine are almost bald after 4 months and 700 miles.|||For tires that will last on pavement and have enough of a knob so you can ride off-road once in a while you will need to look for tires at Wal-mart, Target or an other box store. The tires you will find there will be a harder compound for longer life and you should find one with minimal center tread for smoother rolling.|||Way back when I had to make one bike do, I rode Bontrager Comfort B tires on my mountain bike. They have a smoother center tread with some knobbs on the shoulders for off road and work great. Another option would be to just change tires based on where you plan to ride, or get another complete wheelset (thats what I eventually did and it was fantastic to be able to just swap out wheels and go).|||Get a set of tires with a universal tread like they use on comfort bikes. You can find tires like that at Walmart.

Luck|||WalMart tires? Noooo. But do buy something with an inverted tread. Makes road rolling on a fat tire bike SO much easier. Check out the Kenda Kwick Roller, OR Panaracer's line of Urban tires.|||Get hybrid tires. It will let u go on both trails amd road
