Replacing back tires. Nothing wrong with them, just wanted a set of stickier R compound rubbers. Balance right now is good, though should I go ahead and have them rebalanced after mounting the new tires?|||i say yes you should. i've never had that done automatically. YOU HAVE TO PAY EXTRA FOR THAT. been driving for about 55 years now. so i've had many instances of buying nnew tires.
they also want to put on new valve stems. THAT'S ALSO EXTRA.|||Absolutely. Should automatically be part of the task of replacing the tires at any shop.|||yes definitely, anytime a tire is taken off the rim and remounted it needs to be rebalanced.|||YES They may feel ok but without balancing they will wear out a lot sooner.|||They should balance them when they put the new ones on
