Is it possible to repair handtruck (dolly) tires? OR is it just fixed by buying replacement tires?
They are inflateable tires, but have lost connection with the rim. Just asking, because a set of new tires cost as much as buying a new dolly.|||I have had this problem before myself, and I used clear 50 year silicone caulk around the bead to seal it, and it worked, If there is a hole in the tire, I have used a product called green slim, you can pick it up at any auto parts store, its kinda like fix a flat,Just follow the instructions, I used this to seal the tire on my wheel barrel,|||You can bring them to any tire store and have them reseated. If you want to fix them yourself you can use inner tubes.|||yes those can be fixed, take it to a small lawnmower repair place (are they tubeless or tubed) and they can patch them up. you can also change them just like you would a bike tire, work the blunt edge of a wrench around the bead till it pops off the rim, lift it, then repeat. if it has a tube, either repair the tube or get a new one, if it is tubeless find the hole and patch that. then reinstall.
